Artist Alley

NOTE: The Artist Alley is an open area. All artists and other groups in the Artist Alley are responsible for their own items on their table. For a table with increased security, please purchase a booth in the dealers room.

Costume Contest Rules

1. All costumes/skits must obey the PG rule. This means NOTHING sexual in nature, NOTHING obscene in nature. No cursing, no stripping, no mimicking of sexual acts, NOTHING of that sort will be tolerated.
2. No stunts. We go by the "One Foot" rule, as one foot must remain on the ground at all times. If there's staged fighting, you must obey the "3/4 Rule" and move slower than normal.
3. Any props you bring must leave with you. Along this same line, ANY particle or chemical substances you may want to use for a skit are NOT ALLOWED! No powder, no smoke, no strobe lights, no water, NOTHING of the sort will be allowed for use in your skit.
4. If you have a skit, please be courteous and keep it under 5 minutes.
5. Signup will be available in the anime room on Friday and Saturday. If you have any questions, please contact Dave "Proz" Henkin at conchair@san-japan.org.
6. All may participate,but if you enter the same costume you wore last year (and we have pictures) you are ineligible to win.

All costume weapons and props brought into the convention area must be Peace Bonded (inspected and tagged) by the chimaeracon staff. Anything denied entry must be removed immediatley failure to do so can result in revoking of membership.

WiFi Lounge
Enjoy free internet connection in our seating area. Wifi is availible throughout the entire convention area, but there are comfy chairs here.
