ChimaeraCon will be open until 2 A.M. Friday into Saturday and 2 A.M. Saturday into Sunday, so you can get your game on all night. We will need plenty of game masters and games so please be sure to start signing up before all of the slots are full.

Dice Stacking: World Record Challenge at ChimaeraCon 2012
ChimaeraCon 2012 will be hosting the Guinness World Records™ challenge of the most dice stacked into a tower in 1 minute.
Challenge Rules
You must use commercially available, 6-sided numbered dice, measuring no more than 20mm along each edge.
You must use only one hand, with the other remaining behind your back at all times. Your stacking hand must be flat on the table at the start of the attempt.
You may not use any water, glue or other adhesives to stick the dice together, nor may you use any wires or other structure to keep the dice standing.
The dice should be stacked one by one into a single tower. You must only pick up one die at a time.
Once completed, the tower must remain standing for 5 seconds for your attempt to be valid.

ÆtherFest
ÆtherFest is Texas’ first three-day steampunk convention and festival! It’s full of all the panels, workshops, musical events, vendors and wonderful people from the Steampunk community you expect to find at any such convention in an exceedingly historic and immersive hotel environment with a light theme tying it all together.
We will be at ÆtherFest Friday - Sunday running games and taking names. Team Chimaera will be running the Chimaera Chess Tournament as well as Pinche Games' Double Agent. We will also have many other games on hand.

Chimaeracon 2011 Day 2
LARPing, Costume Contest, and ChimaeraBall...OH MY!
There will be a lot going on for all the ANIME peeps. Get your costume and show off. We will be having costuming panels that will knock your socks off. Play in Zombie LARP. There is much to do.
Don't forget about our ChimaeraCon game, Faces of the Chimaera. there will be a nice prize for the ultimate winner. There will also be prizes for the Mech Challenge once completed.

If you sign up in advance you will only pay 5 dollars to get in, you can still get in if you show up at the door but you will be paying 7 dollars instead! We will only be letting in the first 200 people so sign up in advance to guarantee your spot!
